I Build Websites That Don’t Just Look Good — They Perform.
Malaysia-based web designer focused on custom-coded websites, UI/UX, and conversion-driven experiences—hand-coded by default for fast, intentional builds, with WordPress available when it fits your team or brief.
My journey
I’m a web designer and frontend developer based in Malaysia, working with businesses across Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Selangor, and beyond. Official name: Nur Natasya Umairah binti Othman — online I’m Umairah / Umairx.
Umairah (Umairx) is an independent web designer based in Malaysia, operating Umairx as a personal web design brand.
If you’re asking why hire me — outcomes first: pages that load, read well on mobile, and move people to act.
That usually means conversion-focused layout in Figma, semantic front-end code (HTML/CSS/JS—often Tailwind), and UX + speed tuned for real phones. If the project needs WordPress for content workflow, I’m comfortable building that too.
I started with layout, copy hierarchy, and speed — how they change what people actually do: click, trust, message, buy. That became a practice: Figma first, then careful front-end so what ships matches what we agreed — lean by default, and WordPress when that’s the right tool. Since 2021 I’ve done that for Malaysian SMEs and my own side projects. Proof: client case studies.

Quick answers before we start.
Do you use WordPress?
My default is hand-coded HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (often Tailwind) so the site stays lean, readable, and fast.
If you specifically need WordPress—for example a blog, a content team workflow, or you already run a WordPress stack—I can build it too (I have WordPress experience). It’s just not my first option unless the project benefits from a CMS.
Who do you work with?
Businesses, startups, and local brands across Malaysia — Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Selangor, and beyond. Browse client work for real launches.
How much does a website cost?
It depends on pages, design depth, and integrations. Most small-business marketing sites land somewhere between a simple one-page build and a multi-page site with custom sections.
If you message me your rough page list, examples you like, and a deadline, I’ll reply with a clear scope and a quote.
How long does it take?
Timeline depends on page count and how ready your content is. Many brochure-style sites move from kickoff to launch in a few weeks once copy and images exist.
I’ll share checkpoints for design review, build preview, and launch so you always know what’s next.
What do you need from me to start?
A short brief is enough: what you sell, who it’s for, your goal (WhatsApp leads, calls, bookings), and a few sites you like.
If you already have a logo, brand colors, photos, or draft copy, great. If not, we can start with structure first and fill content as it comes together.
Can I update the site myself?
Yes. If you only change text or images occasionally, I can keep it simple and handle small updates quickly.
If you want your team to edit content often (blog posts, announcements, regular updates), that’s where WordPress can make sense, and I can build that workflow for you.
Do you offer support after launch?
Yes. I can help with ongoing tweaks, new sections, landing pages, and small fixes after go-live.
Some clients prefer a light monthly retainer; others message when something comes up. Either way works as long as each request stays clear.
Can you redesign an existing website?
Yes. If you already have a site, we can keep what’s working and rebuild what’s not—better structure, clearer copy hierarchy, and faster pages on mobile.
If you’re on WordPress already, I can work with that too (or rebuild to a cleaner setup) depending on your goals and maintenance needs.
